About this course

The course aims to develop understanding in a wide range of physics topics, and well as improving analytical and laboratory based practical skills.

Most students who take A-level Physics want to progress onto a technically based subject at university, including research. It is ideally suited to those with a logical mind, and some mathematical skills are useful.

GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and Science at B grade or higher are ideal requirements, although we are happy to look at individual circumstances of course.

This is a 1 year course, and we are unique in Bristol in offering 1 year A-level courses.

We will contact you, answer any questions you may have and invite you for an informal discussion about the course and your future plans.

100% of students who have taken and completed the course have been successful. Overall, last year 67% of our students achieved and B grades.
