Course programme
Ideal if: you have a genuine commitment to working with and studying animals and are enthusiastic and committed to hard work.
You'll need: three GCSEs at grade C or above (two of which must be English, mathematics or science) or equivalent qualifications. Mature students are welcome without formal qualifications as long as they have appropriate knowledge or experience.
You'll learn: about the husbandry and welfare of a range of animals including exotics, animal collections, wildlife and domestic species. You will also develop functional skills, such as numeracy and IT, required in all types of employment.
Expect: to gain the balance of skills and knowledge needed to perform well in both scientific and animal management environments.
