The deliberately contentious and humorous title gives an indication of the nature of the course. Popular concepts will be challenged and a whole host of new tests, models and approaches presented. Recent research will be constantly referred to, including that of the tutor, and the question asked regarding not just what we know, but how we know.

The course includes a large practical element and a variety of teaching methods will be employed, including surgical videos, computer graphics and case studies. A 50-page course booklet is included.
