This course is for anyone who wants to study how humans work and wants to learn about the world around them. How have humans come to be here? Are we really all that different from each other? Why do we wear clothes and what do they mean? You will also look at what a cyborg is and how the theory of evolution works. There are opportunities for trips to various places such as the British Museum to see how objects are used to represent different groups, as well as various university talks and visits including Manchester, Brunel and Durham.

About this course

You will need at least 5 GCSEs grade C or above. In addition to this, you will need at least a grade B in English Language.

  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business/Law/Finance

  • Certificate/Diploma in Financial Studies

  • AAT Accounting Certificate (Level 2) or Accounting Diploma (Level 3)

  • Guest lectures from business leaders within our partner organisations and workshops to help expand your business knowledge and awareness

Additional information

This course is assessed by two, one and half hour exams. You will also complete frequent essays and mock exams throughout the year.
