Topics covered include; the project management life cycle, planning and scheduling, communication, teamwork, resource management, project risk management and project reviews.
What is APM and APM PFQ
APM PFQ is the knowledge based, introductory qualification awarded by the Association for Project Management (APM); formerly known as the APM Introductory Certificate (APM IC).
Association for Project Management (APM) was formed in 1972 in the UK to support project professionals through its qualification and membership scheme. APM has over 30,000 individual members and more than 500 organisations participating in their Corporate Partnership Programme, making APM the largest professional body for project management in Europe.
APM is now the chartered body for project professionals and the APM PFQ is the first qualification required to earn the chartered status.
The APM Body of Knowledge forms the basis of the APM Qualifications. It defines the boundaries of project, programme and portfolio management and the functions undertaken as part of these endeavours. Incorporating a mix of tools, techniques, processes and skills, APM qualifications offer a progressive structure which demonstrates a delegate’s project management achievements.
