APPARATUS WORKSHOP
This workshop focuses on the principles of the Montessori Approach and their application in the classroom. The use of Montessori learning materials for children between the ages of two and a half and six is covered through lecture demonstrations. A practical examination follows this workshop for Early Childhood students; check times and examination dates with your chosen centre.

Compulsory for MCI Early Childhood students who are working towards their Stage 2 Certificate.
Students are advised to complete assignments 1-5 before attending this workshop.

Number of contact hours: 50 over 10 days. Check times and examination dates with your chosen centre. Students also have the opportunity to accrue up to a maximum of 30 hours extra by practising with the Montessori materials for a maximum of 3 hours per day, outside of lecturing hours. There is also a written examination revision seminar scheduled on the Saturday before the workshop in London UK only, please refer to the seminar programme.
