This two year course will enable you to develop further knowledge in forensic and medical science. Units are taught by specialist lecturers. Students will study units in:

Course programme
Assessment is entirely through coursework, based on practical work and academic research. Students spend 13.5 hours per week in class, with additional time for tutorials.
This is an ideal course for progression to higher education. Past students have gone on to study degrees in medical genetics, biology, paramedic training, forensic science, dental technology, criminology and biochemistry. Students can also progress on to the Analytical and Forensic Science Foundation Degree.
Five GCSEs at grade C including English, Maths and Science or the Level 2 BTEC First Diploma in Applied Science (with a Merit profile).
