Delegates will be able to: Give emergency First Aid to an injured person until medical assistance arrives. Recognise and appropriately treat basic emergency situations. Carry out the duties of an Appointed Person as specified within the First Aid Regulations. Suitable for low/medium risk establishments or to compliment your existing provision. For low risk environments where there is no requirement for a First Aid at Work trained first aider. However, even if a First Aider is not legally required, an employer must still appoint a person to take charge of first aid provision. For employers who wish to provide the highest standard of first aid care to employees, contractors and the public. It is also ideal for individuals and lone workers and is often the minimum requirement for sports coaches, instructors and support workers.
