    A Level

An Apprenticeship is a work based learning programme at Level 2 or 3 where the learner is ‘earning while learning’. The programme is ideally suited for employees who have some element of responsibility within their job role. The Apprentice will attend College on a day release basis and should achieve the Level 2 or 3 Apprenticeship Framework within the agreed timescale.

Learners must be in employment within the Health and Social Care Sector and be referred by their employer to undertake this Apprenticeship.

Course programme

  • All learners will be supported by a Training Adviser/Assessor who will monitor progress towards achieving targets on a regular basis.
  • The Training Adviser/Assessor will liaise closely with the employer to ensure that qualifications are achieved within timescale.
  • The Training Adviser/Assessor will assess the Apprentice in the workplace as and when required.

Learners who have successfully completed the Level 2 Foundation Apprenticeship can progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Please note; learners will need to be working at a supervisory level for level 3 in order to generate the appropriate evidence.
