About this course

You should have two GCSEs at Grade D or above in English and maths, or a relevant Level 1 Qualification and be employed in the industry.

Level 2 Diploma in Plastering and NVQ Level 2in solid Plastering, you will also gain Functional Skills in maths and English at the relevant level.

Course programme

What will I study on the course?

You will study safe working practices in construction, building methods and construction technology, how to apply plaster materials to external and internal surfaces, fix dry lining and plasterboard products to interiors, form sand and cement screeds and produce and fix plaster components. Ideal if you are employed as a plasterer and wish to develop your skills and gain a recognised Qualification.

Additional information

You will attend college one day per week over the two years and spend the remaining time working for your employer.
