Approaches to Counselling Children and Young People

You will develop knowledge and insight needed for this specialist area. It focuses on the particular boundary issues which apply when working with children and young people (for example; the Children Act 1999, confidentiality, parental and other consent). You will develop theoretical understanding for working with children and young people and practice relevant skills and techniques for conducting effective interviews with a child or young person.
