Finding a job is not just a tough deal but it is a job in itself. When searching a job one should need to concern with every possible resource, including relatives, friends, contacts and teachers.
It will be beneficial for a person to use all his contacts to obtain information about job guide and he will need to build network through making a list of all the persons he knows because building a network will facilitate the person to get into the hidden job market.
Sometimes it happens that the people who are in your direct contact list may have no possible information which leads you to the job but they might be the people, who have references that can help you in searching a job of your requirements.
The unit introduces various approaches for job searching; it describes the job market, networking and self promotion. It also explains how to indentify your network and how to manage your reputation.
On the completion of this unit learners will be able to understand how to develop a script and how to set work goals.
