About this course

This course is for absolute beginners and concentrates on Modern Standard Arabic for daily use. It introduces the four language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, and presents basic grammatical structures and relevant cultural information. Please note that the exact detail and order of topics and structures may vary depending on the needs and preferences of the students

Funding and fees   If you plan to study credit courses totalling 30 credits or more in the year 2015-16, you may be eligible to apply for the SAAS Part-time Fee Grant (PTFG) which can contribute towards course fees. Students in receipt of certain state benefits or those who are earning £25,000 or less per year, including any private and state pensions, may be eligible. Please note if you are applying for a SAAS PTFG you will need to enrol in person.
