Year one
Year one will lay the foundation for your study of archaeology with core modules in archaeological method and the prehistoric and historic archaeology of Britain up to the industrial revolution.
Year two
In year two you will study more advanced core themes in archaeological research and choose from a wide range of optional modules covering topics from the Roman Empire to underwater archaeology.
Year three
Your final year gives you the chance to undertake your own research project which you will write up as a dissertation. The rest of the year is taken up with a variety of modules of your own choosing from the wide range offered by the Department.
