Contribute to creating an innovative, sustainable built environment for the future using design, creativity, research, analysis, technical knowledge, management knowledge and practical experience. Contribute to building design, government policy making, real estate development, building assembly analysis or product development, testing and marketing. You may work as a landscape architect, urban planner, restoration architect, research architect or architectural engineering. Or, pursue a master of architecture (MArch) to become a licensed architect, master of building science (MBSc/MASc), or studies in project management, real estate, urban design or planning.

About this course
Ryerson is the only school in Canada to integrate architecture, building science and project management. This program, when combined with our master’s program, forms a program of study that is accredited by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB). Study Architectural Science and learn to transform our world into a more functional, beautiful and sustainable place. A paid competitive co-op program, fabrication labs, studio work and immersive projects will ensure you graduate with the perspective and skills needed to collaboratively guide design and construction processes from start to finish.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program specific requirements. Typically, a minimum overall average of 70% establishes eligibility for admission consideration; subject to competition individual programs may require higher prerequisite grades and/or higher overall averages:
English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)

Mathematics [one of Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) or Advanced Functions (MHF4U)]
