Course description

The main focus of the course is 'designing through making' by means of practical methods. You will discover techniques and processes using a range of specialist and non-specialist materials, including paper, card, formboard, mould making, clay relief, vacuum forming, plaster, wax casting, pigments and surface treatments. The course will also focus on the pros and cons of using these materials as well as cutting, gluing and construction techniques.
