What you need to know
How will I study?

In the first year you will undertake a diverse range of practical design projects that aim to develop the fundamental skills necessary for the design of creative and functional architectural spaces. In the first year of the programme you will learn how to apply conceptual thinking to the design process in the realisation of both architectural and interior based projects. In the second year you will be encouraged to develop your portfolio with an emphasis on specialist knowledge development, tailoring the second year of study to your own specific pathways and interests within the spatial design industries. A number of projects are delivered as 'live' projects, working on industry linked project briefs that provide the opportunity to respond to real client needs and requirements.
How will I be taught?

During your studies on this programme you will develop all of the necessary skills and knowledge required to begin your own creative career within the spatial design industries. This full-time programme is primarily delivered through diverse practical assignments, enabling you to apply conceptual and creative thinking to the design of architectural spaces, and developing your essential design skills, such as: concept sketching, CAD visualisation, practical model making, and design research.
