This course is a stepping stone between GCSEs and other further education courses. You will study art and design areas such as: Drawing; painting; printmaking; photography; graphic design; fashion and textiles; 3D design and sculpture. You will also study art history and contextual studies.

After this course you can progress onto further art and design courses such as a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma (previously BTEC National Diploma) in Multimedia, 3D Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Media, Textiles or Fine Art.
