Are you passionate about art and design? Would you like to work and study in this field? This Level 2 course provides an exciting curriculum, designed to develop your creative skills and ideas, as well as equipping you to work in the creative industries. It is suitable for students progressing from a relevant Level 1 course, or from GCSE studies. You will experience a wide range of creative activities that may include photography, graphic design, fashion and textiles, fine art, design crafts and other areas. The course will help you to develop your creative ideas in response to the world around you, and use those skills to develop a career. You will also develop useful business skills, such as enterprise and marketing, which will be valued by a range of employers. Throughout the course, each student's creativity is nurtured and encouraged in a supportive environment. You will be tutored by practising artists and designers, who will guide and support you as you develop your portfolio of work. You also will benefit from specialist facilities, with purpose built studios and workshops. All places are subject to satisfactory interview. About this course

Art and Design Level 1, or a related vocational area; or,
A good standard of literacy and numeracy supported by a general education equivalent to two GCSEs grade C or above
