Art and Design Pre-Foundation Portfolio

This is a course will help you to prepare a viable portfolio to make an application to either level 2 or Level 3 Diplomas. The course will suit applicants who have had previous experience of Art and Design education and also those with less formally developed skills. You will engage with developing approaches to drawing, printmaking, design development, painting, sculpture, textiles and making in 3D. The aim is to begin the process of engagement with a personal journey into creative practice at a higher level. No formal entry requirements but you will need to attend a brief interview and will be asked to bring in examples of creative activity Practical studio work through some demonstration and workshop related activities. Portfolio of coursework and informal self-reflective discussion. Development of a portfolio to join other full-time or part-time courses for example Level 2 OR 3 Diploma Art and Design.
