Course programme
Whether you love Old Masters or contemporary art, London has an art gallery to suit you. This ten-week course will introduce you to the wealth of art venues in London, from major collections such as the National Gallery and Tate Modern, to smaller, more intimate spaces such as the Wallace Collection and the Serpentine Galleries. You will learn about the people and places that have shaped art in the capital, and the different ways in which art has been displayed and presented to the public. We will also discuss current exhibitions, such as Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse at the Royal Academy and Alexander Calder: Performing Sculpture at the Tate Modern.
