The Art History minor is a focused exploration of art history and theory. The minor program is designed to an opportunity for those students majoring in other disciplines, but with a strong interest in the history of art to gain further knowledge. Course programme
Art courses taken to fulfill Art major requirements may not be applied toward any Art minor requirements.
Art majors may not use ARTS 2800 and ARTS 2810 toward the Art History minor. Art majors must take additional 3000-4000 level courses to complete this minor program.
Required Courses
Satisfactorily complete each of the following courses:
- The Ancient & Medieval Worlds
- From Renaissance to Mod World
- Satisfactorily complete nine hours of 4000-level courses in Art History.
- Satisfactorily complete all minor requirements listed in the academic policies section of this catalog.
- Earn a grade of C or higher in all ARTS courses.
