2. Course description This modern course covers some of the issues that will affect you for the rest of your life: climate change and global warming, increased coastal and river flooding, overpopulation and globalisation. We shall study these and other topical global and environmental concerns in a mix of human and physical Geography. By the end of the course you will have a greater understanding of the processes that are shaping, and the challenges that face, the natural and human environment.
