AS/A Level Graphic Design
Graphic Design combines Art and Technology in order to communicate ideas. Graphic Designers can work with a very wide range of materials and processes in order to convey a message from a client to a particular audience but the main tools are image and typography. Good designers are able to convey often complex concepts in a way that is instantly accessible by ordinary people. By means of exercises, research and practical projects you will learn what is involved in the design and production of graphics. You will look back at past designers and designs, look around at present designs and look forward to designing for the future. Along the way you will develop practical skills to enable you to communicate and realise your ideas.
