What does the course consist of?
  • Three units for AS, and six units for a full A-level. There are units in Core, Statistics, Mechanics and Decision Maths
  • Two Core units and one Applied unit are studied in the first year
  • A further two Core units and one Applied unit are studied in the second year
  • A student mentoring scheme means that help sessions are held every day, where advice and tuition are available
How is this course assessed?
  • In both the first and second year, one external exam is taken in January and two are taken at the end of the year
