3. Entry requirements Although individual consideration is always given to every applicant, in general the minimum requirement for this course is a GCSE grade C in Music. This includes reasonable music-reading skills in treble and bass clef and music theory up to about grade 4 standard (e.g. knowledge of key signatures, sharps and flats, simple and compound time). Alternative, grade 4 theory without GCSE Music is an acceptable entry qualification, if you have suitable practical skills - a minimum of grade 4 in any instrument or voice. Whatever your standard, we encourage all students interested in doing A Level music to talk to a member of staff to help assess their position and give advice on the best way forward. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method Not available
