Entry Requirements : No formal qualifications. All Students will attend an interview for acceptance onto the course.

Course Description
This popular and successful course is a modular A level in two parts. The examination board is AQ A (Assessment Qualification Alliance) AS is normally studied in year one and A2 in the second year however, AS can be studied as a stand-alone module as part of an advised A level package and in some cases AS & A2 can be studied in one year providing the candidate attends two sessions per week and has an aptitude for this. The UCAS points are the same as for other A levels and candidates are advised to take career advice when selecting A level modules to suit their chosen progression aims.

What you will Study
The A2 Photography schedule extends your photographic practice and skills further and places this in the context of historical and contemporary photographic styles and processes. Traditional black and white and colour methods are contrasted with digital imaging skills and experimental photography. Students at this level are encouraged to develop a personal style through themed project work. There are two course work modules, one has a written component in the form of either an essay or a journal. There is also a practical examination unit. Health and Safety is an integral part of all workshops.
