Course AimsThe aim of the course is to ensure participants understand the dangers of asbestos and are aware of their responsibilities should they encounter it within the workplace.

Participants will receive practical advice in identifying asbestos and the necessary procedures to follow if it is found. The course will raise awareness regarding the dangers of asbestos and the damage it can cause to the human body.

The session will also help employers to meet their obligations under the ˜Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, which states refresher training should take place at least once per year.
