• All General Tradesmen. Electricians, Plumbers, Cablers, Painters and Decorators etc., • Supervisors, Foremen, Managers and Directors who are responsible for works being carried out where there is possibility of Asbestos being present. Course overview This half day course is to provide detailed information on asbestos awareness and guidance about the introduction of new duties to manage Asbestos in the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2002 (as amended 2006). 4,000 people are going to die this year in the UK from Asbestos Related Diseases. HSE advises that these numbers will not peak until 2015-2020. Benefits To give awareness of asbestos containing materials (ACM’s) in workplaces. Groups are limited to 8-10 persons.
