This workshop is designed to equip participants with the skills and strategies required to assert themselves competently in a wide range of work and interpersonal situations. Delivered by a highly experienced and supportive clinical psychologist, the training aims to be informative, practical, and enjoyable. The number of places is limited to ten to ensure everybody receives adequate attention. All participants will receive a comprehensive training manual including all slides and supporting materials.

· Recognising and understanding the causes passive, aggressive and assertive communication and behaviours.

· Identifying and challenging self-limiting thinking and behaviour patterns associated with non-assertive communication.

· Establishing personal boundaries.

· Managing criticism, anger and conflict.

· Handling difficult people.

· Learning to say ‘no’

Venue easilya ccessible by public transport and provides free parking. Lunch and refreshments are provided in the cost.
