Assistants Study Day

To give physiotherapy assistants working in a hydrotherapy facility an understanding of the hydrostatic and hydrodynamic principles relative to exercise in water. Health and safety issues pertaining to hydrotherapy pool chemistry and knowledge of monitoring procedures are covered, and practical sessions help to impart an appreciation on the importance of accurate handling and communication skills plus the ability to supervise an exercise programme.
