Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Intermediate NVQ level 3

Course Overview
Suitable for students interested in seeking employment in book-keeping or accounting, keeping the accounts of a small business, or progressing to further studies in the AAT accounting qualification.

The course will include in-class exercises and homework. Students will need to spend approximately 6 hours of personal learning time per week

The prgramme is delivered over one year, EITHER
Monday and Tuesday evenings 6.15 - 9.15 OR
Tuesday 9.15 - 3.00

Qualification Aims
Students successfully completing this Intermediate NVQ3 stage can progress to the AAA Technician NVQ4 Qualification.

Assessments/Examinations
The Course is examined by three AAT'set Simulations (assignments) throughout the year, two examinations in June and coursework assignments.

Cost / Equipment
Tuition Fee£715 this includes simulations.

The AAT is a professional body. Students will need to arrange and pay registrtion and examination fees direct to the AAT.

Students will need to purchase some recommended textbooks, currently retailing at approximately£60.

Requirement
Candidates will be required to possess one of the following: AAT Fioundation NVQ2, OR BTEC National Certificate or Diploma, OR Advanced VCE, OR A levels, OR Relevant Work Experience in Accounting Knowledge of manual double entry book-keeping is essential and all applicants will be invited to attend a short informal interview prior to the course commencing and will be expected to attend a special enrolment day.
