Helpful to have some accommodation arragned by university, though it could have been more carefully chosen. However, situation in Cambridge was everywhere pretty much the same.

Possibility to select between three rent bands. Chose the highest category, which gave a reasonable accommodation. It was a great place to be.

I was supposed to have a room booked for me in the campus, and I phoned to England to be sure the reserve was done. They told me everything was fine but when I arrived the campus' rooms were full.

What I would highlight:
My father sent to Westminster Bank 1000 pounds and the bank simply LOST them! I got them back after 2 monthes and I had to go to the bank every 2 days to check what was going on.
