Explore astronomy and astrophysics at an advanced level, focusing on observational, theoretical or computational astronomy.
This course is one of only three full-time, broad-based astronomy MSc courses in the UK. It's for you if you have graduated from a physics- or applied mathematics-based degree with a substantial physics component and wish to learn how to apply your knowledge to astronomy.

100% of students from the Department of Physics and Astronomy were in work or further study six months after graduating. Recent School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences graduates have gone on to roles including:

You should normally have a lower second-class (2.2) undergraduate honours degree or above.
