The course will benefit all carers who work with children and young people in all child care settings.

It will help to support carers to gain an understanding of children and young people experiencing difficulties building social relationships.

Course Content:

The course covers:

• Emotional and social development
• Feelings linked with children who have attachment
  difficulties
• Insecure attachments
• Healthy attachments
• Recognising the signs of a child with attachment
  difficulties
• How to deal with a child with attachment difficulties

Course Duration: Half a day

Certificate:

At the end of the session, learners will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance which can be referenced to knowledge within relevant NVQ's.
