It was awsome meeting all the boys and girls of the college. For a girl of my age it was the best way to experience the real Aussie life.

That we didn't have so much work to do and that you should take as many classes as possible. Have fun and travel a lot!

What I would highlight:
I could take part in universitty activities becaus I was living on campus; it made it easier to get around. The ANU also offers off-campus living and also catered and self-catered halls. I lived at the least expensive Hall (Burton and Garren Hall) for $70 (USD) a week; we had a locked refigerator and a cabinet and a communal room with ovens and stoves. I shared meals from people from all over Australia, Asia and Europe, you always learn many things during these meals. At the end of the semester we took turns cooking, it was easier for us and Asian students cook really well. If I can participate in another exchange program I would choose a self-catered facility with no doubt. I had my best conversations in the B&G hall with people from other countries.
