2. Course description It teaches you how to create 'advanced' 3D drawings in AutoCAD using: surfaces, meshes and solid modelling. Learning is through hands on use of AutoCAD in 3D, all under the guidance of an Autodesk Approved Instructor. 2D AutoCAD drafting experience is required. This is a flexi course - you will be able to book 20 sessions with your dedicated tutor to use within 12 months of booking.

3. Entry requirements You will need an interview for this course. Interviews are held on Tuesdays at 4pm in the CAD room at College Green (Room 6W9). You don't need to book in advance, but allow at least 1 hour - the time required depends on the number of interviewees who arrive on the day.--It is recommended that you have:----a working understanding of English & maths--intermediate to advanced 2D AutoCAD user, or other 2D CAD system--the ability to use Windows based computers confidently-- 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method You will work through 2 practical assessments and a multi-choice examination.
