A simple elevator, that lifts us to the necessary floor, or an independently operating heating and air cleaning system, or a water pressure station in a multistorey building - all of these and many other things are examples of automation solutions that we encounter with on a daily basis.
Even having fun in a huge aqua park, we never think that our good mood is the result of many automation engineering solutions, to be more precise, their systems that filtrate and heat water, maintain water temperature - one in a swimming pool, a different one in a jakuzi; these systems also control air quality and temperature.
Automation achievements are efficiently applied in manufacturing industries, where the majority of processes are becoming automated and the need for manual work is decreasing rapidly and is limited to brainwork to manage those processes. Automation is installed in modern transportation systems and has entered the most important areas of human life. This is a versatile specialization, adapted in almost all branches of manufacturing.
Automation study programme provides comprehensive knowledge of various control systems and technologies design, development, application and exploitation. The graduates of the programme have an opportunity to acquire low power work certificate. In the course of studies students may also attend Building Information Modeling courses. Moreover, students learn to adjust various technological equipment and processes management technical and software equipment, identify and eliminate failures; to apply the most recent computer equipment for the automated control of technological equipment and processes, to manage them and controle on a distant mode, solve automobile equipment control issues, applying modern tools and methods; students also learn to perform buildings electricity networks, automated security systems, buildings automation, lighting equipment control, and manage these systems on a distant mode.
