This course is designed to meet aviation industry requirements and also includes an option to add the Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (RQF), which is recognised in the wider Education and Training sector.

About this course

IATA AHM1110 states that anyone who is assesses colleagues should be suitably qualified. This is a new requirement in Edition 44 (2024). This course provides a solution to meet that requirement. This may be an existing Trainer looking to add a specific assessor qualification, or it may be for an experience colleague, Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager who will occasionally Assess the competence of staff as part of their role.

Learners must be aged 19+ years to be enrolled onto this course. You must be in a position to assess learners in the work environment as part of this qualification. Ideally, you will have access to a qualified trainer or assessor in the workplace to act as a mentor.

Please note: course materials are provided in English and the practical assessment must be completed in English.

The Aviation Assessor Certificate will be provided upon completion of the course, and if chosen, the Level 3 qualification certificate will also be awarded by the external awarding organisation after internal and external quality assurance.
