Course programme

What will I study on the course?

You will study a number of different topics including Health and Safety and the safe operation of the gas welding equipment. You will practically train to complete five welding assessments.


The course runs from September till March where you will attend college one night a week (Wednesday) for 24 weeks. You will complete five practical weld tests and answer fifteen oral questions.

You will need to have an interest in gas welding but no formal qualifications are needed.
