About this course

No formal qualifications are needed for this course but an interest in plastering will be an advantage. You will have an interview and initial assessment. Following a successful interview and initial assessment results, you will be allocated a place to study the practical and theoretical elements of plastering.

Course programme

What will I study on the course?

Whilst on the course you will develop Skills in relation to: Health and Safety in construction trades, Working and communicating effectively in construction trades, Preparation to carry out plastering activities, plastering skills, Clear and store Plastering tools and equipment. You may also be required to carry out functional skills training in maths and English depending on previous Qualifications.

Additional information

The course runs for 2 and a half days per week over 1 Year these can be changed to suit learners circumstances, the main enrolment period for this course is in September but there will also be the opportunity to start the course at other times if places are available.
