Course Content
  • Year 1

    You will study four, 30 credit units:

    • Financial Accounting
    • Financial Decision-Making
    • Financial Sector, Responsibilities and Ethics
    • Foundations of Quantitative Analysis in Economics and Finance
  • Year 2

    You will study four, 30-credit units:

    • Corporate Finance and Tax 1
    • Financial Reporting

    Plus two from:

    • Investment Principles and Risk
    • Personal Financial Planning 1
    • Quantitative Analysis in Economics and Finance
  • Year 3

    If you are on the placement route, you will undertake a minimum of 36 weeks’ work experience between Year 2 and Year 3 of your studies.

    If you are on the full-time route, you will progress directly into Year 3.

    In Year 3, you study four 30 credit units:

    • Corporate Finance and Tax 2
    • International Financial Management

    Plus two from:

    • Banking, Financial Markets and Institutions
    • Econometrics
    • Financial Planning for Individuals
    • Risk Management in Banking and Insurance
