Who is this course for?
Those over 21 who wish to begin their degree in the local community before progressing to the University of Glamorgan or local school leavers who have applied through UCAS but wish to study the first year locally between the hours of 10am and 3pm. The course is operated under franchise from the University of Glamorgan.

What will I learn?
You will study the following subjects for two hours each: Literature; History; Sociology; Philosophy; Psychology; Study Skills.

The BA (Hons) Humanities degree provides the opportunity for you to enter a wide range of careers, depending on the subjects chosen in years two and three. Opportunities for post-graduate study are available in a wide variety of areas. The BA (Hons) Humanities is a three year course, year one is undertaken at Ystrad Mynach College, years two and three at the University of Glamorgan.
