Course Content

Most of our courses have a common first year, which introduces you to the basics of business. During this year you may decide that your chosen specialism is not for you, and we have ensured that our courses are flexible enough to allow you to change your degree subject at the end of your first year, should you wish.

As you go into second year, you will study research methods and engage in more independent study. The nature of a joint degree is that you will study core modules from each of the two subjects you choose to combine. Year 3 is your professional experience year. The culmination of your course will be a dissertation or independent study project, allowing you to explore an area of your studies that you find especially interesting. Although much of your course will be tailored by you - with free electives and independent research - you will be allocated a personal supervisor on arrival, who you can use to discuss your academic progress, get help with issues affecting your course, or just go for a friendly chat.
