In choosing Aberystwyth University's Agriculture with Countryside Management Degree you will study a combination of science, production, conservation and land management methods. Integrating agriculture and environmental management you will be immersed in contemporary issues including environmentally-sensitive farming methods, farm support and wildlife habitats. Similarly you will be exposed to the pressures driving farmers to diversify and the strategic responses that occur as a result. Ultimately the Agriculture with Countryside Management Degree provides you with the knowledge, technical and practical skills which modern land managers need to cope with these conflicting pressures. This four-year course includes at least 36 weeks of work experience in a related area, undertaken in the third year.
