Course programme

Course Content Year 1

First-year modules include: Fundamental building blocks of anatomy; biomechanics; physiology; psychology; nutrition; and research methods relevant to the field of Sport and Exercise Nutrition.

Year 2

Year 2 introduces more specific Sport and Exercise Nutrition modules in line with accreditation, for example Nutrition across the Lifespan, and Diet and Disease.

Year 3

Modules focus on the public health agenda and include Nutritional Biochemistry and Endocrinology, and Enhanced Sport Nutrition. A big part of the third year is the Dissertation module.

You can switch to a Masters course from bachelor level study and vice versa, subject to attainment conditions and funding where applicable. You may be required to complete certain modules as part of any transfer.
