For people who have completed their Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies and want to progress further.
What qualifications or experience do I need ?Completion of FD Early Childhood Studies (with minimum of 4 units at 10 or higher) and internal reference from ECH FdA Tutor
What will I study ?You'll study these modules: " Independent Study " The Professional Practitioner " Social Policy: Context and Implications And you'll choose (depending on availability) two from these modules: " Thinking Creatively " Special Educational Needs and Disability " Leadership and Management for Practitioners
How will I be assessed ?You'll learn through lectures, seminars and work-based activities. There are no exams, so you'll be assessed through a range of reflective tasks, essays, creative presentations, portfolios, reports and on your practice placement. Please ensure you bring to your interview a handwritten personal statement of approx. 200 words about why you want to work in Childcare
