This module aims to familiarise you with the resources, teaching methods and specialist vocabulary you will need to succeed in your future studies in the UK. It will help you to develop your understanding of written and spoken texts to a level equivalent to B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning and Teaching (CEFR)/IELTS level 6.0 and provide further practice with your speaking and writing skills. It will also help you develop your ability to critically evaluate sources and texts in an academic context.

About this course
Our dedicated staff provide expert support and tuition to help prepare you for your future study choices. The programme has a minimum of 12 weeks of teaching included.
All modules include a number of tutorial sessions either in small group sessions or one-to-one.
You will have access to extensive online facilities, as well as our learning centres/ libraries, allowing you to make the most of the resources available to you.
