BA (Hons) in International Business

Graduates from the BA (Hons) in International Business programme have been successful in such diverse areas as accountancy, advertising, banking, finance, human resource management, ICT, insurance, lecturing, public relations, and stockbroking, while some are running their own businesses. The three year honours degree in international business is accredited by QQI and is placed at level 8 on the National Qualifications Framework. The programme focuses on the international aspects of business, especially the challenges of operating in the dynamic global environment. This is achieved by combining a mix of theory, practice and work experience. Lectures are interactive environments where students are encouraged to exchange ideas and opinions. There is a strong emphasis on developing the student’s personal skills such as public speaking and debating.
