Course programme

Content

An important and challenging part of the programme is work-related learning centred on outside work attachments and work for the College's own monthly magazine and website Artefact.

Running alongside the practical and career-focused nature of this degree course are units in the history of journalism and photojournalism and the history of 20th-century intellectual, political and cultural thought and movements.

What our students say

I've become great friends with my coursemates and we still meet regularly to share ideas. There was a huge amount of input in a short space of time. It was quite overwhelming at first, but sent us all on steep learning curves in the end.
Briony Campbell

[The course gave me] Lots and lots of work experience, self-confidence and industry contacts. I also increased my knowledge of theory and practice of photojournalism. I was given lots of support and guidance.
Francesca D'Ascari
